city employees, whose efforts have
been recognized with a number of
regional, provincial and national
awards.
I look forward to working in partnership
with our very capable employees to
ensure all taxpayers receive the
best possible value from every decision
we make.
As we move forward, I will lead
Council in a style of governance
that reflects our confidence in our
city departments.
I will strongly advocate for exploring
new stable and predictable
revenue from other levels of government.
New revenue streams
are absolutely required to help maintain
the level of services that residents
value while keeping tax increases
to the minimum and ensuring the sustainability
of our community.
